DCDSB 2025-2026 School Year Calendars

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers:

The Durham Catholic District School Board 2025-2026 school year calendars have been approved by the Ministry of Education.

Highlights of important dates in the calendar include:

• The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students will be Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
• The last day of school before the Christmas holidays will be Friday, December 19, 2025, and classes will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. 
• The 2026 March Break will take place from March 13–20, 2026 (returning to school on Monday, March 23, 2026). 

We want to thank all staff, families and community members who participated in the calendar consultations. Your feedback provided valuable input into the creation of these school year calendars.
